Supportive Services and Housing for People with Disabilities

URBAN CITY RENEWAL

  Supportive and Low Income Housing

Supportive housing - permanent, affordable housing linked to health, mental health, employment, and other support services - is a proven, cost-effective way to end homelessness for people who face the most complex challenges. By providing, the chronically homeless with a way out of expensive emergency public services and return them into their own home and community; supportive housing not only improves the life of its residents but also at the same time has the potential to generate significant public savings.

People who live in supportive housing sign leases and pay rent, just like their neighbors. Urban City Renewal wishes to self-power people by being responsible home owners by creating Low and Moderate Income families with safe and well constructed single family properties.  This is a necessary investment in revitalizing our communities.
